[note: i had to take this silly photo of mary kate olsen out because it was getting wild amounts of grabs from search engines for some reason, and messing with my stats. we can't have stat-messin', kids.]

okay, so the winner isn't mary kate olsen (she didn't even bother to guess), but this morning as i was waiting for the bus, i was thinking about how it would have been logical to use a small duffel to carry all the stuff (a half gallon of change and 3 packages of etsy goodies to be mailed, and my normal gobs of stuff) i was schlepping into center city.  and then this image of mary-kate olsen popped into my head, because i'm always wondering what on earth she could be carrying in such a big bag. today i decided it's change and packages of stuff she made then sold on etsy. brilliant.

sooo... how much change was in the bottle?  $186.37!
babyjewels is the winner.  my own guess was $175 (i knew there were a lot of quarters - 481 to be exact - so i was guessing a bit high, too).  but her guess of $179 was even closer than mine.  sweet! 
i'm kind of lame, so for now i'll just be depositing the money into my ING account, with the idea that i'll use it later this year toward venturing out of the city for a few days.

It never occured to me to wonder what is in that little thing's bag, but now I cannot stop thinking about it. I like stiletto's guesses. It looks heavy, whatever it is.
