calendars, weather and other such mundane stuff

for me, being busy totally comes in cycles.  lately, lots of things have been popping onto my non-existant calendar (note to self: buy a new filofax already. it's april.)  craft shows and community events and just stuff - good stuff - keep arriving in my inbox and i want to do it all.

today was the locust walk arts fair at penn.  we were totally afraid it was going to rain, since they were predicting pm showers for wednesday, and thunderstorms for thursday (which made me excited in a way - i like a good thunderstorm now and then, and usually it indicates warmer weather, right?)  unfortunately, i wasn't able to go to represent my goodies, i had to leave that in the capable hands of flicka and addie.  hopefully they had an awesome day.

the calendar in my living room workspace above, is, suitably enough, supastarr's riding in the rain wall calendar.  it's perfect and amazing, but it's too pretty to write on.

well, you didn't really miss a super-exciting day, but you and alice did pretty well in the sales department. the vendor next to use was cool, so it was nice chatting with her. personally, i only sold two (!?) photos, one of which was to my mom. it was obviously not an artsy crowd. here's hoping that first friday does me better.
