super savey jar

Img_1665_10

okay, so i've had this glass milk jug - a half gallon - for about two years now i've been tossing my change into it a couple times a week. now it's full and... how much is in it? leave your guess in the comments, winner gets something amazing from my shop (i'll post that on saturday). delurk! win stuff!

[um, rules are: price is right style - closest but not over - wins. i'm only accepting guesses posted as comments here. and don't guess something someone else already guessed. that's just silly, right?]

other than that, i'm just working on screening some stuff tonight and finishing up some bags. i finally got around to burning that recoated screen last night while we were watching the worst documentary ever made (yep, that'd be the one that i mentioned yesterday that was supposed to be about an anthropologist who lived with cannibals and then returned like 60 years later, however it wasn't. it was just a disaster of a film if there ever was one, and for so many reasons.)

anyway, the screen came out pretty well (okay, i haven't actually used it yet, but it looks like it's going to work just fine) and i'm excited about printing this weekend because it's a design i've been tossing around in my head for a bit.

excellent. have a great weekend (and holiday, if you're into that), everyone.

What'r ya gonna buy with it??

I'm going with 179.21.

A little high, you say? Perhaps I am. :)

I'll guess $63.00

$237.17

$242. (It'll be $241.99 with my luck!)

$84.33
Great COntest !!!

$252

I feel like I am on the price is right :)

I really don't think that much would fit in there. I'm going with:

$53.17

$257.00

going a little bit higher than the crowd on this one...

$277.18

$135.72.

That looks awesome! I hope it's not too heavy ^_^

I've not done one of these guessing things with coins before... but I won a huge jar of chocolate at Eastertime about 5 years ago in one of these ^_^ They called to tell me that I'd won in the middle of a BBQ at my apartment with all my engineering mates - then a dozen of us sat around eating free Cadbury and playing cards all afternoon after I went to pick up the jar (about 6-7lb of Cadbury and Lindt). Fun times!

I think there is $162.00

I'll say $434.06

It, of course, depends on how big the jar is. I'm assuming that the items in the photo with it are normal sized and that some cruel trick hasn't been played and miniatures been substituted. ;) Assuming that it is a typical antique-style milk jar and that the reference items pictured are also normal sized and that the larger coins that I see are indeed quarters, I would guess...

$232.23

:) Fun contest!!

$47.93

Saw this in the Etsy forums. Cool contest lol.

I'll say 115.00 :)

I'm guessing ... $90. wish me luck!

ok, my guess is what my grocery bill was this afternoon... (wait for it...)
$177.71
indeed, it's embarrassing that we spent so much on groceries, yes - although there were 2 gift cards in the lot and the girls are going through some kind of eating-craze-growth-spurt. nonetheless, i believe that number has some serious good mojo about it and i do think that YOU, miss sara, are better than the lottery, so you get my number. fingers crossed b/c i love your bunny screenprint and all things girls can tell. :-)
nighty night!

$207.88

$27.50

Okay...I have no idea how American money works but those jars ALWAYS have more in them than you think... $300? =)
